DOESN’T IGNITE

If an electric stove will not start, ensure the appliance power cord is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are switched on. You should check the pilot light on gas stoves. If the oven power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is on in the oven, then a different part will need to be replaced. The cause of the problem could be an surface element, infinite switch, oven burner igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN WILL NOT HEAT

A burner or stove or oven without heat does not do much. Your oven doesn’t heat if there is a broken bake element or oven sensor. A burner doesn’t ignite if an element is broken or the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We know how to troubleshoot and repair these problems in no more than 1-2 hours after we arrive.

PROGRAM ISSUES

You can assume the control panel on an oven is broken when the program or timer settings don’t work. OVEN TEMPERATURE IS TOO HOT

You want a hot oven. But not too hot! If the heat is too hot, it could be because of an issue with the thermostat or sensor. Our appliance repairmen can find the location of the issue and repair it. Be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of skin burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A common stove issue is that an igniter glows but does not light. The cause is sometimes from a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or sensor. We are able to determine if we are able to fix these appliance parts or if we have to replace the part.

DOOR WON’T OPEN

Modern self-cleaning ovens can experience door issues often. The door will not open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We monitor the door closure, thermostat and seal to troubleshoot why the door won’t open and then complete the repair so we can correct the issue.
